Choo Choo...Damnit !

 The $32 trip from Portage, WI to Minneapolis-St. Paul on Amtrak's "Empire Builder" is less than dramatic as the entire trip takes place in the dark. At the same time it's a nice place to nap and update a website. With a cup of classic Wisconsin "Kwik Trip" coffee and a wobbling LCD monitor, I attempt to lure your mouse clicking hand to the various subsections of the Sho. I get kind of a weird vibe from this train...unlike the trains of the east coast. This has more of a Kerouacian (?) "The New Bus" type of feel. Alot of goatees and an odd mix of old Mid-Wisconsin types. Then there's The SeanSho...Seems to be the only laptop on the train.

I was hoping to have big news about the Sho, but it'll have to wait. Things always happen a week after they're supposed to it seems. Instead, I'll wax on about other people's news...Twin Citians see the exit of our good friend JJ Kincaid from KDWB..He's on to pursue a bigger title in Madison, WI. We'll miss ya bud! Good Luck! Our new pal "Hody" enters the SeanSho apartment with a whole lotta stuff (What's in all those boxes?). The Sho travels east for Thanksgiving hoping to track down an old NYC drinking pal or two for post holiday fun! Maybe you'll join us?
